• Account credentials — the username and password you use to sign in to your MyGSTFiling account.
• Business and tax data — GSTINs, client details, GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-2B, GSTR-3B and others), invoices, tax computations, filing status, and related records you enter or download through the Service.
• GST Portal session data — one-time passwords (OTPs) and access tokens generated when you authorise a connection to the Government GST Portal through a GST Suvidha Provider (GSP).
• Images you provide — photographs or files you upload for GSTIN or invoice recognition (OCR).
• Technical data — device type and basic diagnostic information needed to operate and secure the app.

2. How we use your information

• To provide GST filing, reconciliation, reporting, and task-management features.
• To retrieve and display your GST data from the Government GST Portal via authorised GST Suvidha Providers.
• To verify GSTINs and extract text from images you submit.
• To authenticate you and keep your account secure.
• To operate, maintain, and improve the Service.

3. Third-party services

To deliver our features we share the minimum necessary data with:

• GST Suvidha Providers (GSPs) — authorised intermediaries used to communicate with the Government GST Portal for retrieving and filing GST data.
• Optical character recognition (OCR) — used to read GSTINs or invoice details from images you upload.

These providers process data only to perform their function for us and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.

4. Data sharing and sale

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal or business information to any third party for marketing or any other purpose.

5. Data security

All communication between the app and our servers is encrypted in transit using HTTPS. Access to your data requires authentication. We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information; however, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

6. Data retention

We retain your account and tax data for as long as your account is active or as required to comply with legal and regulatory obligations under Indian tax law. You may request deletion of your account as described below.

7. Your rights

The Service is intended for businesses and tax professionals and is not directed to individuals under 18.
